Super Fest 2016 was an awesome day for all!  We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who come to the inaugural Super Fest from near and from around the country.

Super Fest 2016 was a disability inclusive football clinic, cheerleading clinic, and fan fest for the intellectual and developmental community.  It was held at City College of San Francisco the day before the Super Bowl 50. The purpose was to provide an inclusive event for the intellectual and developmental disability community at the biggest sporting event in the country. All to often, when people attend these high profile events, there is nothing appropriate for their relative or friend with developmental disabilities to attend so the individual with the disability does not go and therefore not able to attend these exciting events. It is just another silent way that this community faces discrimination.  So this event is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for this community to be able to participate in activities alongside their typical peers in a safe and welcoming environment.

Super Fest 2016 was supported by a broad based coalition of individuals and local, national, and international organizations.  Our goal is to serve the intellectual and developmental disability community and are so pleased that many organizations are joining us in support this event.  They include:  Down Syndrome International, National Down Syndrome Society, Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area, Silicon Valley Down Syndrome Network, Down Syndrome Information Alliance, The Donald Strickland Foundation, and more.

THANK YOU TO OUR 2016 SPONSORS AND SUPPORTERS!
