super fest
Super Fest was created to provide youth of all abilities and disabilities the opportunity to participate in fan festivities that surround major sports events. It began as an inclusive football and cheerleading clinic and gameday experience held the day before the Big Game. Super Fest's purpose is to showcase inclusion and provide an opportunity for youth with developmental disabilities to participate together with their peers, be genuinely welcomed, have activities designed with their needs in mind, and made to feel a part of the big sports games such as sports Championships and All Star Games.
Super Fest teaches sports skills for each person at their level. The skills based clinic culminates in a activity such as a football gameday experience with the national anthem, football players running through a cheerleading tunnel, football scrimmages, and cheer performances or a basketball scrimmage.
After many successful years of Super Fest - Football & Cheer during the Big Game weekend, we launched Super Fest - Basketball during the WNBA All-Star Game weekend with the support of a major sports brand. We also appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with National Down Syndrome Congress and bring awareness to inclusive sports at the official 2022 College Football Hall of Fame Kickoff Game Football Fest in Atlanta and with Stanford Women's Soccer team to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day in March 2023.
