Come enjoy this summer golf outing and join golfers from around the country as well as many from the Plandome community! Plandome Country Club's beautiful, undulating course will challenge you and remind you why you love of the game. The food is top notch and begins with brunch, then lunch on the course, an open bar during the cocktail hour, and a lavish spread for dinner. The location is convenient for all - adjacent to the Long Island Railroad (Plandome Station) for anyone coming from New York City, a 30-45 minute taxi ride from JFK and LGA, and half way between Manhattan and Suffolk County.
Registration opens at 10:30am and feel free to enjoy a relaxing brunch, warm up on the putting green (no driving range) or catch up with friends before the 12:30pm shot gun start. You are sure to enjoy the round of golf with a caddie and you will also have lunch available on the course. After golf, relax at the cocktail hour and share your exploits on the course and off to dinner which will include a short presentation about The Matthew Foundation. Registration includes all food, drinks, caddie fee, use of locker room, etc.
Over the years, Swing for Hope has attracted tremendous support from NFL alumni, professional sports teams, and high profile corporations. Past supporters have included: Lynn Swann, Pro Football Hall of Fame member and Super Bowl X MVP, National Football League Player Engagement, Ritz Carlton Destination Clubs, American Airlines, Tiffany & Co, several NFL and NHL teams, Morton's The Steakhouse, Brooks Brothers, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Toys R Us, Madison Square Garden, and many more organizations.
