2019 ATL Super Fest from Sunday NFLCD on Vimeo.

SUPER FEST!! Welcome to the most inclusive game of football Super Bowl weekend where everyone gets to play! #11Alive pic.twitter.com/tMApPHWGAh

— Kaitlyn Ross 11Alive (@kaitlynross1) February 2, 2019
We were thrilled Atlanta Falcons' General Manager Thomas Dimitroff and Miss Georgia Annie Jorgensen were a part of Super Fest Atlanta!
We are so pleased to collaborate with leading organizations to bring Super Fest to Atlanta. Super Fest is an inclusive football and cheerleading clinic culminating in a gameday experience where youth and young adults of varying abilities, including those with developmental disabilities, are genuinely welcomed and experience the excitement of the Big Game weekend.
Participants will be welcomed by Thomas Dimitroff, General Manager, Atlanta Falcons and will learn football & cheer skills from NFL alumni, high school football coaches, and Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots cheerleaders from 10am-12pm. Then Miss Georgia Annie Jorgensen will kick off the Gameday experience with pre-game festivities, cheer performance that participants learned in the morning, a football scrimmage. To top it off, ESPN will be filming to feature Super Fest Atlanta on television the next day and 11Alive will also be present interviewing self-advocates and participants.

This year, we are excited to introduce the opportunity for participants to sign up to be a sideline reporter for those who are not medically cleared to participate in the football or cheer clinic.

The purpose of Super Fest is to provide a realistic and enjoyable experience to individuals with disabilities and their typical peers, enabling everyone to participate in the excitement of the Big Game weekend!

To get a feel for this event, please view the ESPN clips below which aired on their Sunday NFL coverage before the Big Game. And for more information about past years, please visit: Minnesota (2018), Houston (2017), and San Francisco (2016).
